The Look
The Vintage Beach table evokes a casual feel, perfect for beach living. We went with cool blues and greens as a color theme to reinforce the beach theme. A vase filled with sand and seashells with a couple sprigs of succulent complete the theme. A jute rug reminds us of weathered docks by the water. Add the rustic iron & wood artwork to finish the outdoor look.
The Music
Go to YouTube and just type in beach music and hit play. You’ll get a nice mix of beach inspired music that will mix well with the evening you’ve created.
The Meal
• Tangy roasted corn & shrimp chowder.
• Blue lump crab cakes (the best recipe is the one on the side of the Old Bay® spice can).
Warning: This may ruin all other crab cakes for you.
• Cheesy, crispy au gratin potatoes. Grilled vegetable salad with olive oil and sea salt.
Dessert
Strawberry shortcake topped with whipped cream.
Beverage
Add a dash of blue food coloring and a Swedish fish to sparkling water and you have the perfect beach-inspired beverage for the table. Adults can enjoy local craft beer. Green Flash, West Coast IPA or Ballast Point Long Fin Lager would be a perfect choice.
